    Secret Phone Codes & Functions

There are many hidden functions/codes built into phone systems to do various functions and tests, first, we will highlight the ones we often use at our company and then we have a handy list of everything we could track down.   Keep in mind that you want to do your research on what they do instead of just diving in and pushing random buttons as some affect phone settings and could negatively affect your device if you don’t know what you are doing.

    The Main Functions We Use:

*#06# – Shows the IMEI and serial of the device with bar codes.  This is very helpful when the device has the information faded or worn off to verify it.

We don’t use this tool too often, but when the information is missing or damaged on the outside of the device it is helpful.

*#0*# – The service menu.  This provides quick access to many helpful functions for testing different aspects of a device.

There likely isn’t a need to use every function/test but it provides quick access to many useful tools.

Inside of the service menu we mainly use: Red, Green, Blue, Touch, Speaker,
